Wix lays out most sites on a fixed-width page. If you keep the current look, each page is kept whole on a phone by scaling it to the screen, which makes small text smaller. If most of your visitors are on phones, choose a fresh design: it lays every page out for phones.

Either way, the rebuild is tested on computers and phones and compared with your Wix site, and you look over a private preview before anything goes live.
Your domain and email
Your domain comes too, when you are ready.
- Domain bought through Wix? Move it to us now, or connect it today and move it when it renews. Your account walks you through Wix’s own screens, step by step.
- Wix emails the transfer code to the domain owner once you confirm the transfer away. Wix may ask you to disconnect the domain from your site first. That is fine; we connect it to the new one.
- Your email keeps working. Before your domain switches, we copy its records, email first, and check the copy against what your domain answers today.

Questions about leaving Wix.
Do I need to give you my Wix password?
No. We read your public website the way a visitor sees it. Anything private, like a product or subscriber export, you download from Wix yourself and bring in. Please do not send passwords in chat.
When should I cancel my Wix plan?
Not until your new website is live on your domain. Your Wix site stays up the whole time, so there is no gap, and when to cancel is up to you.
What happens to my old site during the migration?
Nothing. Your current site stays exactly as it is, live and untouched, until you have looked over the new one and approved it. The rebuild happens alongside, never instead.
Can you move my email too?
Yes. Alongside the website we can move mailboxes from Google, Microsoft 365 or another IMAP provider, with their folders and message history, and host business email at your domain going forward. One move can bring several mailboxes across. Calendars and contacts are not copied. Business email is optional, at $5 a month and $1 for each extra mailbox.
