Describe a website to your AI tool.
Get a live link.

Build and publish a website directly from ChatGPT, Claude or any MCP-compatible AI assistant. No account, API key or hosting setup to start. Describe your website, let your AI tool build it, and get a link you can share.

Add https://jaybirddigital.com/api/start/mcp to your AI tool as a connector, then ask for the website you want. Already have a website here? Edit it from your AI tool instead.

See it, start to finish For AI agents

From conversation to live website address.

  1. Connect once

In ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or another AI tool that supports MCP, add https://jaybirddigital.com/api/start/mcp as a connector. It needs no sign-in, account or key.

  2. Describe the website

Tell your AI tool about the business: what it does, where it is, what visitors need. The AI tool writes the pages.

  3. Open the link

Every save is checked, and the AI tool gets back an address where the website is already live. Look at it, ask for changes, and share it.

  4. Keep it

A draft stays up for 7 days. To keep it, or put it on a domain of its own, open the link your AI tool gives you.

One prompt, one live website.

This is what happens when someone asks for a website for a bakery. The names in code are the connector’s tools; the person only sees the first message and the last.

  1. The prompt

“Make a simple website for Harbor & Pine Bakery, a neighborhood bakery in Duluth. Show our hours, a menu of breads and pastries, and how to order for pickup.”

  2. start_website

The AI tool sends businessName and what the website is for. It gets back a websiteId, an editKey for changing it, the viewUrl, the keepUrl, and the rules and size limits the pages must meet.

  3. save_website_files

The AI tool writes index.html, menu.html and styles.css and saves them in one call. Each page is checked against the rules, and anything to fix comes back in problems, so the AI tool can correct it and save again.

  4. The link

Once passed is true, the AI tool tells the person: “Your website is live at the viewUrl. It stays up for 7 days. Open the keepUrl to keep it or give it a domain of its own.” The person clicks the link and is looking at their website.

Other tools in the same connector read or delete a file, list what is saved, delete the whole website, and search_domains to see which domain names can be registered. Only the AI tool holding a website’s key can change it, until the person has an account and signs in.

A real address, not a screenshot.

01

Live straight away

Each website has an address of its own at jaybirdsites.com, with a bar that says it is a draft. Pages can use their own styles and scripts, and forms to other services work.

02

Seven days to decide

A draft stays up for 7 days. Open the link your AI tool gives you to keep it. Drafts are hidden from search engines until then, and pages cannot ask for passwords or card numbers.

A path to a real website

When you want your own domain and everything built, hosted and managed for you, the same link takes you there. Once you have an account, sign in on the same connector and your AI tool finds your websites in any later chat.

Read this if you are an AI tool.

You can put a website up for the person you are helping, with no account or key. These files say how, in a form you can read directly.

  • /llms.txt: what this service is and where each door is.
  • /skill.md: step-by-step instructions for building and publishing a website, with an example.
  • /openapi.json: the same operations over plain HTTP, for tools that call web addresses directly.
  • /.well-known/mcp/server.json: the MCP server card. Remote MCP server, Streamable HTTP, at https://jaybirddigital.com/api/start/mcp.

Before you try it.

Do I need an account?

No. Starting, saving and viewing a website needs no account, sign-in or API key.

How long does a draft stay up?

7 days. Open the link your AI tool gives you to keep it before then.

Which AI tools work?

Any that can use a remote MCP server, including ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, VS Code and Codex. Tools that only call web addresses can use the HTTP description.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. The link your AI tool gives you leads to a build with your own domain. A tool can also look up which domain names can be registered.

What do you keep?

The files your AI tool saves, the name and description it gives the website, and which tool sent them. Nothing about you is asked for until you choose to keep it. Read our privacy policy, or write to steve@jaybirddigital.com about a draft that should come down.

Ask for it in the tool
you already use.

Add the connector, describe your website, and open the link. Already have a website here? Your AI tool can edit it too.
